ICL Education Group (New Zealand)

ICL Education Group is one of New Zealand’s respected private education providers, known for its long-standing commitment to high-quality English language training and academic pathways. With a history spanning more than three decades, the group has grown from a single language school into a multi-disciplinary education network trusted by local and international students.

The journey began in 1988 with the establishment of Auckland English Academy (AEA), a specialist English language school that later became one of New Zealand’s largest IELTS training centres.

In 2000, Bridge International College was established to deliver the New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL), a qualification accepted by all NZ education providers as an approved English entry pathway. In 2002, ICL Graduate Business School launched, offering research-led, university-level programmes.
